1. Performing & Media Arts

Performing and Media Arts trains you in performing arts (dance, drama, presenting, etc.) and media technologies. This covers the areas as multi-media production, costume design, presentation and acting. You will acquire technical, managerial and performance skills for deploying dance, music, drama, and presentations through creative media and technologies for audience consumption at various levels.

Personality Type for Performing and Media Arts

This is apt for someone who is expressive, wordy, or artistically creative. Someone whose imaginative process leads to creating sceneries, shows or content for an audience. A background in Literature-in-English is important.

NBTE’s Objectives for Performing and Media Arts

A product of NID in Performing and Media Arts should be able to:

Perform, write plays, set up locations, and design costumes for acting
Plan, establish and manage the production.
Produce live and multimedia productions
Identify, maintain and repair production equipment
Process, package and market performances.
