In egalitarian societies, it is less lucrative to get political power at all cost; It is less attractive to want to be richer than the majority; Basic needs of every citizen is sufficiently met without class segregation; every citizen has equal access to institutions and social amenities and these provisions are adequate for all. So there won’t be incentives to want to engage in ritual killing for achieving what you’ll normally achieve by being a responsible citizen.

• Strong Security and Justice System

The institutions responsible for maintaining law and order must be adequately equipped, skilled and manned to ensure that culprits are promptly made to bear the wrath of the law.
