The sheer thought of hurdles you’d have to scale to become that person in your dream could be overwhelming. If proactive action is not taken, you may find yourself subdued by thoughts of difficulties. But there is enough energy in the universe longing to aid your journey to greatness once you’re ready.

Dear protégé, consider the availability of a shorter route to become the great man you dream of! That’s what I’m about to show you here. Let’s say you want to become the number one citizen of your country, President, Prime Minister, or what have you? It is neither too early nor too late to start becoming that now. Start by modeling the future, by modeling the prayer life, the character & attitude of a president. Then seek knowledge for solutions to the societal challenges and seek collaboration with fellow visionaries.

Before ideas become inventions, scientists and researchers create models for experimentation in the laboratory. Once laboratory research is successful, real life implementation is next. Even real estate constructions move from idea to architectural models before execution. That is why I’m urging you, dear protégé to start to become your dreamed greatness by becoming a true model of it.

• Model the prayer life

Imagine you’re the president of this country (my example, what’s your own dream?), and you start your day very early with prayer, what would be the component of your prayer? I’m sure it will be about the country, arms of government, the people’s welfare, economy, institutions, national projects, your team, and the likes. It would not be about your personal issues, isn’t it? So, what’s inhibiting you from living your daily life just like that now?

By becoming such a model, you’ll be attracting the unseen forces of the universe which are always striving to aid anyone in pursuit of their dream. By implication, prowess and opportunity come to you from transcendental source, lifting you to become the person in your dream.

• Model the character and attitude

As a model of a dreamed…president, your character is of ethical standard and your attitude is befitting. From the privacy of your closet to the outlook of you reputation, there is consistency of sound character and gracefulness expected of a… Even your online presence is thoroughly decent and meritorious. By so doing, no opposition or hacker may have grounds to withstand you in a contest, when your opportunity comes

• Seek Knowledge and development for solutions

Projectile warfare developed from the acts of sling shooters. How many shots do you think the historical David would have done behind the scene while developing the skill that drove him to run towards Goliath? Dear protégé, part of modeling the future is to seek the knowledge and training that the person in your dream would be required to acquire. Which book would he read? Which online article would/wouldn’t he read/watch? Which training, course, mentorship would he engage? Answer the questions and do it, because you’re the one!

• Seek collaboration for implementation

There is someone or some people who share your ideology, locate them, collaborate and develop your social skill. Synergy is a divisor of efforts and multiplier of results. When you become that person in your dream, you’ll use a team of thinkers and executors in implementing your vision. Collaboration with like minds develops your competency in hiring and working with the right people. in fact, it is not out of place that someone would have to recommend you somewhere, and then hoorah! You are there!

Dear protégé, you must have learnt that it is appropriate to be a role model in the society. Fine! But I am now challenging you to also become a model of your dreamed future, to yourself. That is a shortcut to become…! Start by asking yourself now, "what do I need to start doing and continue to do to become the person in my dream?"
