Everyone will continue to run as long as they are not at home yet. Don’t you understand, dear protégé, the same hand that made the lion who never feeds unless a prey goes down, also made the gazelle to be super swift. While there is enough food at home, life is known to be a marathon. A gazelle that stops running ends up as a prey, a lion that stops running surely starves to death. So both the lion and the gazelle must keep running, and you must determine which one you are.

Dear protégé, never must you get to a point in life where there is nothing to pursue, lest you starve to death or end up as a prey. Being lackadaisical about life is a symptom of no pursuit, but the possibility of having a dream come true makes life interesting. And for everyone who has a strong desire or a dream he is pursuing, all universe conspires in helping them to achieve it. Life is generous to those who give it all it takes in the pursuit of their destiny.

Start by asking yourself this question: what would I do if I knew I cannot fail? The candid answer within your heart is the treasure of your destiny. Listen to your heart and pursue with vigor! It’s not that treasure lies somewhere waiting for you, life only rewards you for the sacrifice and responsibility you put in.

How else can you discover the treasure of your destiny? By taking heed to the virtues of life that brings you to tears. Not the consequential stimuli that commonly bring people to tears, rather a unique phenomenon that is peculiar to your soul. There is a contact between your heart and the soul of the earth relaying the achievement that is required of your existence. Your achievement keeps the earth productive, thereby carrying out its own mandate, and by implication, unseen forces of the earth aid the fellow who constantly pursues his life’s assignment.

Never allow the fear of suffering deter you from the pursuit of your dream. Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than suffering itself. And no man suffers who truly pursues his dream because every second of the pursuit represents an encounter with God and with eternity. Go ahead and believe in your dream, meet with Jesus the Author of life, relate with mentors who are helpers on the way, press forward, press, and press!
