Dear protégé, One of the undoing of men who aspire to become great in life is unwholesome sexual habits. I understand that at the sight of the topside adorning the anterior of an appealing lady, or the litheness of her voluptuous derrière, even that bit of flesh that escapes the shelter of her skirt, there is a trigger within you screaming to be unleashed like missile on a launching pad. But one thing you must always keep at the front of your mind is, "all that glitters is not gold"

We have seen how men in authority are held in high expectation of ethical standards across the globe. A significant cost of greatness in life is the sacrifice of immoral pleasure. But life has a way of limiting those who could not sacrifice unwholesome pleasure by making sure they sacrifice greatness instead. Most of this happen inadvertently but my protégé cannot be ignorant in this regard. That is why I unveil to you the reasons why great men are not known to mess around with sexual ignobility.

• An Awareness that they are better than animals

Whatever occurs in the impulse of an animal, it acts out without hesitation, but humans are endowed with the power of judgment. Great men possess profound knowledge and understanding, coupled with foresight and good judgment. Great men are sagacious! They are conscious that it’s not an attribute of greatness to go about with uncontrolled desire for pleasure. Unbridled desire for sexual pleasure has ruined many, but men who become great in life are too noble to molest or be molested by debased attitude. My dear protégé, the managerial control that you will soon be exercising in the corporate and business world is premised on the foundation of self management. Once you succeed in this, the world is yours for taking.

• They have submitted and are committed to a superior principle

Certain pattern of behavior may be permissible among common men, but uncommon men operate within the confines of superior standards. Principles are important underlying law or standard for ethical decision-making. Sound principles originates from the Spirit of Him who is the source of all spirit, the Most High. In His infinite intelligence, He programed secrets of greatness into principles, whoever wants to become great has to sign-up to be able to download prowess. You might have seen some who seem to posses prowess and semblance of greatness but crash untimely. This is due to non-adherence to superior principles. Dear protégé, never feel lonely whenever you have to stand alone in principled-living. When you become a leader of nations, corporations, or industries, being alone at the top does not warrant loneliness because you’ll employ a team who must run with you in your vision.

• They are determined that their determination is final

It is not enough to be determined, you must also determine that, that determination is final. Your commitment to chastity and fidelity to your married wife is sacrosanct. Remember a research work you read in the book The Millionaire Mind – where correlation was drawn between wealth sustenance and mutual fidelity between a husband and his wife. Great men from Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerback, to David Oyedepo among others are shinning examples. Remember the saga between Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinski? I know you’re still very interested in greatness, and that’s why you must remain committed to your determination to be sexually upright.

As for Monica Lewinski, when last did you hear about her? Getting lost in obscurity happens everyday to people who are not upright sexually, her own case was only glaring because she was already a public figure.
