3. Networking & System Security

Networking & System Security as a course will impart you with the technical competency in designing, installing, maintaining, and managing Information Technology (IT) networks, whether local (LAN), wide area (WAN), or wireless (WAN) network environments. It involves managing the flow of communication and data sharing among users in different locations.

You will be able to implement network security, backup and recovery. You will also be trained on how to establish a business enterprise for providing network solutions to organizations. Future roles you could assume through this skill acquisition include web server administrator, WAN specialist, Linux expert, network administrator or network technician.

Set up and upgrade a computer network
Start a small and medium scale enterprise that would provide solutions to organizations’ networks
Manage and administer computer network for optimum utilization.
Partition and format disks and load files
Update the performance and baseline of a network using network monitoring tools.
