Naira Symbol
Aren’t you tired of taking # or =N= or just a N as a Naira symbol? Truly I am! I see it a lot and I’d like to take time to show someone there the simple way it’s done.

By the way, Naira is the official currency in Nigeria, the most populous nation of black-complexioned people on earth. While we expect a time when the country manufactures their own customized keyboard, the citizens should strive to always present their currency appropriately. Once you know how to type the Naira symbol, you’ll always find it interesting to type, I bet you will!

This is especially if yours is a PC and your Operating System is MS Window or others in its family.

Now let’s get straight to business.

Step one: type an uppercase N

Step two: highlight the text N

Step three: right-click the highlighted text. Navigate the dialogue box and click font. Another dialogue box pops opens.

Step four: Navigate to effect on the dialogue box and click Double strikethrough

That’s it!:

HTML Code for Naira Symbol

On the other hand, if you are a newbie to coding trying to write the Naira symbol on a web page.

The code is simply ₦ This gives you in the browser.

Very simple, isn’t it! So the next time you find someone representing Naira with #, =N=, or N, simply give ’em a short lesson!
